How to Download Reddit Videos on Android and PC

On Android and on a computer, saving a Reddit video with its sound takes a link and a press. Here is where the file goes and how to get the quality you want.
On Android and on a computer you don't need an app or an extension to save a Reddit video. A browser and the post's link are enough, and the file comes with its sound.
On Android
- In the Reddit app, open the post and tap Share → Copy link. In a browser, copy the address from the address bar.
- Open FromRed.net in Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet or any other browser and paste the link. The video loads on its own.
- Tap a quality. The file is prepared — a few seconds for a short clip — and the download starts.
The video lands in the Downloads folder. Open it from the browser's download notification, from Files by Google (or your phone's own file manager) under Downloads, or from the gallery app, which picks it up after a moment.
To share it straight away, tap the download notification and then the share icon: the MP4 goes to WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram like any video you recorded yourself.
On Windows, Mac and Linux
- Copy the post's link from the address bar, or right-click the post's title or time and choose Copy link.
- Paste it into FromRed.net.
- Click a quality. The browser saves the MP4 to your Downloads folder.
The file plays in every player — the Windows Media Player and Photos apps, QuickTime on a Mac, VLC — and opens in editors such as Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut and iMovie.
Which quality to pick
Reddit keeps every video in several sizes, and the list shows each one the uploader's original allows:

If 1080p isn't in the list, the uploader's video wasn't 1080p. Every quality has the sound in it.
Getting more out of the same link
The page that shows the video offers the other things in it too:
- Audio: the original M4A, or MP3 from 320 to 64 kbps. The Reddit to MP3 page puts these first.
