How to Copy a Reddit Comment Link
If you paste the post's link instead, the card shows the post's own media — the comment's media only appears when the link points at the comment.
In the Reddit app
Tap the three dots under the comment, then Share, then Copy link. The link ends with /comment/ and the comment's id; that is how the downloader knows which reply you mean.
On a computer
Click Share under the comment and choose Copy link. On old.reddit.com, the comment's "permalink" is the same thing.
Download Images and Photos from Reddit Comments
Pictures posted in replies are saved in their original size from i.redd.it, as JPG or PNG, never as the small WEBP preview the thread shows. When a comment has several pictures, each gets its own button, and "All pictures · ZIP" saves them together.
Save GIFs from Reddit Comments
A GIF uploaded in a comment is offered as its original .gif and as the MP4 Reddit keeps of it. GIFs added from the GIF keyboard in the Reddit app come from Giphy, and Reddit does not show them to signed-out visitors, so those cannot be saved here.
Comment Videos with Sound in HD
Videos in comments are stored like any Reddit video — picture and sound apart — and are joined the same way: you get one MP4 with sound in every quality Reddit keeps, up to 1080p when it was uploaded that way. The sound alone is available as MP3 or M4A.
Save Comment Media on iPhone and Android
The Reddit app has no download button for most comment media. Paste the comment link here in Safari or Chrome instead: on iPhone files go to the Files app (Share → Save Video or Save Image moves them to Photos), on Android they go to Downloads and the gallery.
